When caring for others is in your DNA, it is hard to mind your own business. This caring is almost always compounded by the dogma of religion and the culture of tradition, saturated in misguided morality. Martyrdom and sacrifice then sound like powerful moral imperatives. This is one major problem of those who have not been hardened by the power of power, the power of money and the power of status… hence the “power poor” keep looking out for everyone around them, including their oppressors.
Is it time for you to start minding your own business? Are you willing to keep paying the price for caring? Only you can determine that.
